SBR activated sludge treatment

One of several ways to treat wastewater biologically is by applying anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic reactions in sequence. This is accomplished by performing these steps over a specified time period after which sludge (biomass and other solids) is settled and removed. Supernatant wastewater is decanted and procedes to further treatment.
