Systems engineering computer aided design SECAD (Systems Engineering Computer Aided Design) is a comprehensive software package developed and produced by ITT Water & Wastewater. The SECAD package consists of drawing databases ("images" and dimensional drawings), design programs and utility programs. This software package greatly simplifies and automates a design engineer's design work.
The SECAD program package is mainly intended for engineers and others in the water and wastewater industries involved in the design and drafting of pump stations and wastewater treatment applications. The SECAD package supports the designer and draftsman by providing geometrically correct product images and outlines, and by allowing access to a large number of customizable standard designs for products in i.a. the Flygt product range. SECAD 4.0 is a stand alone program and does not require AutoCAD. Preliminary or final selection of ITT products for the project and basic product information such as model denomination, specified performance etc. are typical inputs to the program.
